O estudo da interação entre nitrogênio, potássio e quantidade de água são importantes na definição das doses ideais desses fatores, a fim de otimizar a produção das forragem. Assim, teve-se como objetivo neste trabalho avaliar os efeitos da aplicação de diferentes lâminas de água e doses de nitrogênio e potássio, na produção do capim Tanzânia, no sul do Estado do Tocantins. Para estudar a influência das lâminas de água e das combinações das doses de N e K2O no capim, nos períodos seco e chuvoso do ano, determinou-se ao longo do experimento a produção de forragem. A máxima produtividade no mesmo período foi de 8.706 kg ha-1, com a dose de 576,79 kg ha-1 de N: 0,8 K2O e lâmina de água de 116% ETc, resultando em aumento de 246%. No período chuvoso, a menor produtividade foi de 6.815 kg ha-1, com dose de 100 kg ha-1 ano-1 de N: 0,8 K2O, na ausência da irrigação. A maior produtividade no mesmo período foi de 11.710 kg ha-1, com a dose estimada de 672,9 kg ha-1 ano-1 de N: 0,8 K2O e lâmina de água aplicada de 120% da ETc, resultando em um aumento de 71,8%. Concluiu-se então nesse trabalho que a produtividade máxima de matéria seca estimada com as equações ajustadas foi de 20.216 kg ha-1 ano-1 obtida com lâmina de água aplicada igual a 949 mm e com a aplicação de 630 kg ha-1 ano-1 da mistura de nitrogênio e potássio na proporção de uma unidade de nitrogênio para 0,8 unidades de potássio.

The study of the interaction between nitrogen, potassium and water content are important in defining the optimum doses of these factors in order to optimize the production of fodder. Thus, it had as objective in this study was to evaluate the effects of applying different water depths and nitrogen and potassium, in the production of Tanzania grass in southern state of Tocantins. To study the influence of water levels and combinations of N and K2O in the grass, the dry and wet periods of the year, it was determined during the experiment forage production. The highest yield in the same period was 8706 kg ha-1, with the dose of 576.79 kg ha-1 N: 0.8 K2O and water depth of 116% ETc, resulting in an increase of 246%. During the rainy season, the lowest yield was 6815 kg ha-1, a dose of 100 kg ha-1 yr-1 N: 0.8 K2O in the absence of irrigation. The highest yield in the same period was 11,710 kg ha-1, with the estimated dose of 672.9 kg ha-1 yr-1 N: 0.8 K2O and applied water depth of 120% of ETc, resulting in a increase of 71.8%. It was therefore concluded that work that the maximum dry matter yield estimated to the adjusted model was 20,216 kg ha-1 yr-1 obtained with the applied water depth equal to 949 mm and with the application of 630 kg ha-1 year-1 of nitrogen and potassium mixture in the ratio of a nitrogen unit for 0.8 potassium units.

A caracterização do regime pluviométrico é fundamental para a tomada de decisão junto às práticas agrícolas para a safra e entresafra, no município de Formoso do Araguaia - TO. Foram obtidos dados diários de precipitação pluviométrica no período de 1981 a 1997, excluídos os anos de 1991, 1992 e 1993, totalizando 14 anos de observações. Os dados foram analisados via sistemas ANFLPLUVIE.EXE e Chuva (Assad et al, 1994). Analisou-se as precipitações médias anuais e mensais; as frequências mensais, quinzenais e decendiais em 20%, 50% e 80% de probabilidade de ocorrência e a quantificação e frequência dos veranicos. A precipitação média anual foi de 1.675,7 mm; e a precipitação média mensal do período chuvoso foi maior em dezembro (330,9 mm) e menor em abril (109,3 mm), 95,16% das chuvas na região ocorreram entre os meses de outubro a abril; em 85,71% dos anos observados, o índice pluviométrico foi superior a 1.000 mm anuais.

The characterization of rainfall patterns is fundamental for deciding farming practices both for the high production and low production periods, in Formoso do Araguaia, State of Tocantins, Brazil. Daily rainfall data were obtained in the period 1981-1997, excluding the years 1991, 1992 and 1993, totaling 14 years of observation. These data have been analyzed using the ANFLPLUVIE.EXE and Chuva systems (Assad et. al. 1994). The yearly and monthly rainfall means were analyzed; with a frequency in time intervals of 30, 15 and 10 days with a probability of occurrence of 20, 50, and 80%, and so the frequency of dry days as well. The mean annual rainfall was 1,675.7 mm; the highest monthly mean rainfall occurring in December (330.0mm) and the lowest in April (109.3mm). Most of the rain in the region (95.16%) occurred from October to December. In 85.71% of the observed years-annual rainfall value were above 1,000 mm.
